Element Tester
Hilton's
DryKap, Dry Roll Press and Test System is the
perfect compliment to the Optima Capacitor
Winding Machine.
A
self contained test system designed to
automatically accept elements from the winding
machine, press and subject them to a high voltage
test for a pre-determined time period. The
elements are automatically stacked in a
convenient tray ready for assembly.
Once
set up, the test system is designed to operate
without operator intervention utilizing the time
that the winding machine takes to produce an
element. Each element is automatically
transferred from the Optima to the DryKap
conveyor, aligned then conveyed through a safety
door, pressed to a pre-determined height and
subjected to a high voltage test.
A
trip point is set and time measured to determine
the quality of the specimen. After testing the
element is discharged, conveyed through a
secondary shorting device and onto the unloader/stacker
ready for assembly. |
